Build adventures with us

Guides, planners and engineers in Kathmandu and Pokhara, making every trek in the Himalaya safe, fair and unforgettable.

Tour and Travel

Mountain people, building the trips we would want to take.

Himalayan Nepal started in 2009 with two guides and one rented jeep in Pokhara. Today about 120 of us plan, guide and support treks across 14 routes. The number we are proudest of: every porter on our trips is insured, paid on time and carries no more than 20 kg.

Our mission
The primary mission of Himalayan Nepal is to democratize financial services and enable digital finance transformation.• Digital Transformation: Shifting the nation from a cash-heavy economy to a secure, cashless digital society. • Local Innovation: Developing world-class, homegrown tech solutions tailored specifically to the unique economic landscape of developing nations.
Our vision
Himalayan Nepal focuses its long-term strategic vision on expanding boundaries and transitioning from a local pioneer into a world-class financial technology institution
  • Safety before summits

Any guide can turn a group around. Nobody ever has to explain why.

  • Leave no trace

We carry out every wrapper and run plastic-free kitchens on every route.

  • Porters are partners

Fair pay, 20 kg load limits, proper gear and the same insurance as our guides.

  • Stay curious

Learn a valley, a language or a new tool. We pay for it and give you the time.
